Hi guys

My problem started about two weeks ago I have had the baxi 105e for about 5 years and up until now sounds like I have been lucky not to have had any problems by reading some of the posts, anyways ,The hot water has decided not to work , well let me explain.

When I turn on the water nothing happens it does not run through hot now from checking the the boiler I can tell you the hot water led does not light nor does the boiler sound like it is kicking in but here is where it gets interesting.if I turn the tap of and then back on full the hot water kicks in and all is well the next i try to use it will do the same thing sometimes it takes about 3-4 times of turning it off and then back on to get it to kick in so to speak ,anyone got any ideas ,

quickly something I forgot to mention is that no matter how many times I turn it off and then back on if I dont have the hot tap on full it will not get hot at all ,so to simplify i can turn the hot tap on a quarter turn and run it all week and it will still be cold but turn it off and then back on full and it works fine

thanks

HW diaphragm requires changing by the sounds of it.

Remove front panel and drop controls panel down. At front left will be a brass valve with a microswitch on the front. The pin will be retracted. Open a hot tap and view the pin, it should hit the microswitch and fully depress it bringing the boiler on. If it doesnt, the rubber diaphram needs changing.
