Baxi 105e hot water sometimes

Hi All

Got a baxi 105e

the water only gets hot sometimes

When we shower we have to turn the pre heat up full to get hot hot water if the pre heat is turned off we only get hot water sometimes

Any help most welcome

have just noticed when it has its funny 5 min the tap light flashes i.e fault

IIRC the tap light flashing means the preheat is working, I suspect your shower isn't taking drawing enough water to operate the hot water but it's cooling the store enough to fire preheat giving you heat to the shower.
