Baxi 105e no hot water to shower

Done some searching for answers on this but nothing quite has the same problem im having.

Basically the boiler is working fine for heating, cold water and hot water but not for the shower. When i switch on hot tap, the boiler fires up, lights come on and water gets hot.

When i switch on shower, nothing happens at all on boiler. No lights come on and water that comes through shower is freezing. Its basically the same asif im running a cold water tap, seems basically as if shower isnt calling for hot water at any time.

Any suggestions ? Im guessingits a problem with the shower and not the boiler but unsure of next step to pinpoint the falt.

Are you sure it's not an electric shower?

Take the head off the shower and see if the boiler fires, if it does then the diaphragm is on its way out.

blocked filter on the shower or duff cartridge, in addition to the above. is the shower thermostatic?

Shower is a thermostatic one.

Will try taking showerhead off today and see what happens, where would the filter be on the shower ?
