Folks, a guy i sub too (generally i only install )sent me to repair a divertor on a 105e that he'd been called out to. The pin that operates what i presume to be the primary flow switch kept getting stuck. So new diaphrams and silicon grease latter all the pins move nicely.
My mistake was not to confirm the fault or check the boilers operation before the repair because now on call for heat , upward facing pin moves operates flow switch fan starts to run but before ignition spark etc the pin retracts killing fan etc, this cycle continues with boiler never igniting
Spoke to baxi they said check voltages at aps, so 24v between brown and black(should be 240v acording to tech) with the multimeter accross those terminals boiler fires up runs ok as soon as multi meter is removed boiler shuts off.
Tech have said sounds like the wiring harness has had it,so have any of the baxi guys or other boiler specialists come across this and does it sound feasable.
