Could someone please advise me.

The 22mm CH Flow pipe from my Baxi 105HE Combi Boiler goes up the wall behind the boiler, turns through 180 deg (still behind the boiler), disappears into the wall and, somehow, re-appears as 15mm in the garage (out of the floor).

I want to make alterations in the garage and get rid of this pipe. To do this I would need the current pipe replacing with one that just goes up behind the boiler into the roof space (where the return is run). To do this the old pipe would need to cut flush with wall because it obstructs where the new pipe would need to be.

Would the boiler need to be taken off the wallplate to do this or is there a way to remove the sides of the boiler, particularly the piece at the back, and fit the new pipe in from the side ?

Hope this works ok!

The pipe in this picture which goes into the wall behind the round orange thing needs to come straight up.

Thanks for that but how do I get to the pipe behind the orange thing to cut it with the boiler on the wall? Or have I missed something?

Thanks, nogoodatfaultfinding for your help. I've had another look and I think I know what you mean now.

Once again, Thanks.
