baxi 51/5 back boiler

Hi All
can anyone help please. we have a baxi 51/5 back boiler that is 6 years old the problem with it is that when it shuts down the pump carries on running on and on and on. to get the pump to shut down we have to reset the boiler otherwise it wont come on again and then turn it off and hope the pump shuts down this can go on several times b4 the pump finally turns off. have been on to baxi these boilers are not fitted with pump overun so its not that any ideas would be gatefully recieved. boiler serviced every year
