baxi 80 eco hot water problem.

Please help boiler fitted approx 3 years ago.
central heating ok hot water very poor,heating engineer
has replaced several parts-plate heat exchanger,thermistor,
complete divertor assembly and finally a new gas valve.
He's now thrown the towel in saying he can't adjust gas valve
past 5mb and suggested fitting new boiler.
Cold water 10l min dhw 8/9l min filters ok

and the working pressure at the inlet of the boiler is?.....get a decent engineer.

The plate heat exchanger does not fail, it gets blocked because the system was not cleaned properly. It can be cleaned and does not need to be replaced.

If your engineer is unable to set the gas valve ( and PCB ) then I wonder if he has properly diagnosed the original fault.

A competent engineer will be able to repair your boiler and will not have to give up.

Call a competent engineer!

I would hope he's not missed something as simple as that looking at the gas cert he's done recently operating pressure of living room fire is 17mb

it may be the board not sending enough voltage to the modureg on the gas valve, he should find out what it should be off baxi
