Hello,
Our thermocoupler in the Baxi Bermuda back boiler has died. If I try to light the pilot light it goes out as soon as I let go of the grey button even after holding it in from anywhere between 30 seconds and a couple of minutes. Occasionally I think I'll have success but within about 30 seconds of celebrating the pilot goes out again
This to me points to the thermocoupler so I've switched the boiler off on the controller and on the timer. However, the earliest I can get a plumber is after Easter (not a surprise) - is it a problem to leave the boiler off in this state for so long?
Thanks
Phillip
