I wonder if anyone can diagnose a problem with my boiler, it continually heats even though the temp control was turned to the OFF position, it is connected to a potterton EP 2000 central heating controller, I had to turn the gas off ot the boiler to stop it. Help.......please

so your thermostat is turn all the way to the off position on the front??
Could either be a dicky thermostat or your gas valve is passing.
Get on the phone to a corgi registard heating eng to fix it for you.
British gas will do you a fixed price repair for £170.

Thanks for you input, have called local corgi guy who also thinks it is the gas valve as well . Many thanks.
