Morning - Had the usual fluctuating pressure problems.Auxiliary vessel fitted - pressure now stable.

I have hot water but no C/H tried reset on the boiler - clicking wall thermostat - no avail - I have to totally switch of the boiler because a fan or something is constantly running (no pilot burning) When I switch on the pilot comes on and preheats the hot water - pilot goes out but there is no changeover to C/H - justs sits there making a fan type noise (extractor fan?) which stays on for hours...... and hours..... No flashing LED or diagnostics at all - Thanks in advance....?!

Can you bridge the timer/room stat to make sure there is a demand? and eliminate the external controls as the fault.

Hello - dont really understand about "bridging" but I turn the stat up to 30 degrees but no joy - It has fired up since it failed on Christmas Day at 3pm - Thanks... I switched it off as it was keeping my daughter awake at 1 am with the fan? running but no CH working still - I turned it on first thing in the morning when my son required a shower (I TRIED IT WITH THE PREHEAT CONTROL OFF (AT 12 O'CLOCK) and the CH fired up... Madness....!! Working now - I have a (CORGI) Gas engineer mate who has been round a few times but not when it is in error contacting BAXI for a diagnosis... Watch this space....
