Just got our Baxi Barcelona condensing system boiler serviced. It had been suffering from a few lockouts but was working fairly well. The boiler needed electrodes and door seals replaced.
However, since the service (I don't know if the problems of the past were masking is one), after ten-fifteen mins of operation, the boiler makes a Very loud low-pitched sound. The only way I can describe it is the sound of a Star Wars light sabre (sorry!!) pulsating, albeit on a far louder scale!
This continues on until you either switch the boiler off, or adjust the low/high dial on the front. The boiler is actually working very well functionally and purrs like a kitten until the darned noise starts!!
Any ideas on what it might be? Any contribution would be appreciated.
