baxi eco 80 central heating temprature control

Hi guys my baxi eco 80 combi boiler central heating is very hot even though the temprature dial is set low on the front panal of the boiler, I dont seem to have any control over the central heating temprature at all when switched on ?

Any ideas what the possible cause is ?

It could be several things, out of tolerance temp sensor, incorrect gas setting ( needs an RGI ) or a faulty circuit board.

Thanks for reply tony, I hope it's not the Pcb board , shall I try replacing the following sensor first - and do I need to smear this sensor with silicone heat sink compound ?

If it's the gas settings then I will call out my local gas safe registered engineer.

I only advocate proper diagnosis of a problem by testing.

Not blindly changing parts!
