Hi,

I hope that someoen who works at or has connections to Baxi can help. I've ordered a firefront from them in December but was told that it was delayed due to technical problems. I have now been told to expect it by the end of this month but have spoken to a few diferent people at Baxi who have all given me different dates! Is there anyone who can shed any light on when the SP3 wil become available again?

Thank you in advance,

David

Parts are normallay ordered through merchants i presume thats who you have ordered from. ( Manufactures dont sell direct). I guess if it aint in stock, it will be soon

Am a Corgi installer self employed and i get the same problems when ordering certain parts/ items. Had to wait six weeks for a fsd device for a "fenton bf gas fire" , although my debit card was charged immediately. You are not alone with lackadaisical service.

Just in case anyone else is ordering a replacement firefront from Baxi, this is what the retailer that i am using has found out from them:

Quote: "The delay stems back to Baxi moving factories in October of last year and on re-assembling the machinery found one of the vital parts missing, so manufacture has seized until they sort this problem and although we keep getting promising dates from Baxi so far they havent delivered.

We cant do anything other than wait for Baxi to deliver. Our outstanding orders date back to October and we can do very little about it."

Customer service? Hahaha..... If and when I get a delivery date I'll let people know. If anyone from Baxi is reading, come on, get your fingers out! It can't be that hard to find or buy a new part for your machinery! It's freezing without heating!

Further to my last post, I have now been promised three timescales for delivery since ordering in December. I have been promised end of January, then end of February which have both came and went and now sometime this month. If anyone knows why Baxi are having continued problems can they post here please, unless you'll get into trouble! I can't understand what's taking them almost 6 months to rectify. Would I be justified in asking for money back to cover the increased electricity costs incurred by having to heat my house with electric heaters?
