Baxi Solo 40/4 rs boiler

hi all, my boiler is having a strop and i was wondering if anyone can help me plz, the pilot light is ok and stays on , but when you fire the boiler, it fires up and the flames go high but after 1 min or so it clicks and goes out inc pilot, any help would be v grateful

Sounds like it is overheating. Check your pump is working ok.

Im pretty sure the thermocouple on these was an interupter type so in fact is doing its job if it is overheating.

To the OP, check the pump is running and circulating.

Cast iron heat exchanger so it is not going to overheat in 1 minute also he does not mention pressing reset button.
So it is more than likely a partially blocked pilot lifting away as main burner comes on. Service req

If its on gravity circs, its supposed to be.
