The Baxi Boiler starts up fine and supplies hot water through-out. The pump runs fine, gas supply is fine and has recently had a new fan fitted.
When its running, every so often you can hear a clicking noise and looking through the viewing window the flame is flashing on/off and the 3 lights next to the knob thermostat are flashing on/off too.

The boiler keeps going and is ok but the problem with this is when i want the water and heating on, when this clicking starts it shuts the valve to the radiators and just keeps heating the water.
Any help would be very appreciated?
Thank you !!

you dont state which baxi solo (on bagde norm inside cover) but anyway sounds like you have a problem with the 3 port valve you should be able to watch it move (normally little lever on the valve )as you turn the heating on or off dont forget the room stat. it may poss be a wiring fault to your boiler.best get someone who knows how to wire them to have a look but most new valves come with diagram

The Model is a Baxi Solo WM 70/4 PF.
Today I swithed onto water and heating and the little lever didn't move. I felt the pipes and it was just pumping through 1 pipe. I had to move the little lever up into the 'Man' position but some days after maybe 2 hours or 6 hours it will reset itself on its own.
Is this an electrical problem or a problem with the valve?

Any help again is very appreciated?
Thank you !!

1. ISOLATE ELECTRICS
2. REMOVE COVER FROM 3 PORT VALVE
3. REMOVE 2 SCREWS HOLDING MOTOR TO VALVE
4. CHECK TO SEE IF YOU CAN MOVE VALVE WITH FINGERS, IF SO SOUNDS LIKE MOTOR KNACKERED IF NOT THE VALVE IS JAMMED.

IF MOTOR KNACKERED, BUY NEW MOTOR AND REPLACE (DRAW I DIAGRAM SHOWING WHERE WIRES GO)

IF VALVE KNACKERED REPLACE VALVE BY DRAINING DOWN.

HOPE YOU GET ON ALRIGHT.........J
