Hi i have a baxi solo pfl50 boiler(boo!)
It had the overheat problem (boooooo)
I purchased a new PCB(horray)
removed my old one(hmmmm)
plugged it in(ok)
forgot which electricity supply wires go where on the PCB(doh)
please can anyone help?

I am faced with 7 possible points to connect the 5 cable strands
they read from left to right
L N E in a terminal block of 3 then E N L and SL in a block of 4 (this is on the PCB)

I have 5 cables
brown blue black grey earth.

which should go where please, am i breaking forum rules by asking this?

The five cables will be for
An earth---green and yellow
A Neutral---- blue
A permanent 240v supply
A switched/control 240v supply
A supply to pump, the pump is controlled by PCB.
Place the five wires in a terminal block, individually!
and test out with electrical tester.
Mains on and programmer off on both/all settings

240v across permant live and N & earth (probely brown)

Turn on programmer on on both/all settings

Will now have 240v on grey or black wire, the live on is switched/control feed.

Whatever cable is left will be pump feed.

The block of 3 (lne) the live is pump feed

the block of 4 (L,N,SWL,E)

L is the perm 240v
N is neutral
swl is the switched/control feed
earth is earth

BTW the plugs the wires go in pull out so you didnt need to undo them anyway

never quite understood why people rip out a big handfull of wires without noting were they went/go!

7 possible connections and 5 wires, am i missing something? does it matter which N and earth connections are made on the block of 3 and 4, if i follow your instructions i have a n and e on the block of 3 and the same on the block of 4.

just use the N & E on the 4 block, although all the Ns and all the Es are connected together
