Bay window gap

Hi,

I’ve recently had new windows installed, there seems to be a slight draught around the edges of the bays which I’m noticing now the temperature has dropped.

I took the attached pictures in the middle of installation but didn’t think to measure the gap at the time.

Question is does that kind of gap look correct for a bay window installation and should expanding foam be preventing a draught?

I’m waiting to hear back from the company, just wondering if I’m right to be concerned.

The bay looks like it might be a tad small on the measurements, but they are a right bugger to measure, so on that basis I’d say it’s not excessive.

If it’s draughty, rip the trims off, cut out the foam and redo it.

are you sure it’s the frame and not the sash…sometimes the sashes aren’t adjusted properly and leak a bit.

I would have hoped that the window would at least meet the external render. A knockon/addon would have solved that gap in an ideal world. Hopefully they have foamed that gap trimming over it
