I’ve recently taken out the blocks between the studs in my upstairs bay and replaced with PIR. I’d assumed the blocks were non structural and just filling the space and that the 4x2 studwork was taking the load. See photo.
However a few weeks later I’ve got some new cracks on the internal plaster wall.
Do you think it’s just settling or were those blocks I removed actually structural?
