beeping fridge

Hi

I have a silver samsung fridge (can't find a model number on it) that has an lcd temp display at the top.

the fridge randomly maked a beeping noise and every time it beeps the lcd display dims with each beep.

What do you thing is wrong with it?

I did remove the top section of the fridge and behind the lcs display was a circuit board. Would replacing this fix it (if you can buy the circuit board that is!)?

If the design of your fridge is similar to mine (both Samsung), I'd be looking first for a sensor problem. What can make yours beep? Open door or faulty door sensor? Auto-defrost problem? ...?

iirc there was nothing mentioned in the manual about warning beeps. the only time it should beep is when you press a button.
