Beeping Zanussi

My Zanussi washer (1200 speed, 5 years old) has started 'helpfully' beeping when buttons are pressed and at the end of a cycle. I think this may have been caused by my daughter pressing a button or combination of buttons multiple times. Any one know how to turn off the beeping feature? It was much better when it was silent.
