Hi,

I have just got round to doing my bathroom. The existing tiling looks like it was done by Stevie Wonder and the adhesive looked strangely think. I was amazed to find tiles on top of tiles. Anyway I managed to get all the tiles off the wall without too much damage. I just have a small section of plaster board to replace.

I was planning to skim with plaster over the existing rough plater board before re-tiling. Is there any other prep I need to do to the plasterboard?

should get away without needing to plaster that small area, use a decent adhesive the premix are usually crap. Better to mix your own, but if you buy a ready one some go off to quickly.

Hi, that's exactly what my bathroom now looks like after removing tiles. I have never tiled before so could you please give me some tips. Should I skim the walls to smooth them out, then pva and tile on top.cheers
