Can someone help save me a call out charge, please?
I have the DWD5410 which has given 3 years (or so) faithful service - until today!
I loaded it as usual and run the cycle. It made all the usual noises (albeit somewhat louder than what I think it does usually). When I opened it at the end, nothing had happen. The liquid flap had opened, but the liquid was just pooled on the bottom of the machine.
I tried again, and it happened the same. I then power cycled the machine (I am a Windows support person after all!!!) - no joy.
I Googled the problem and found the suggestions on this forum about tipping the machine. Still no joy.
I removed the base panel and saw quite a build up on brown powder on the panel and some on what appears to be a motor of some sort.
At this point I stopped as this is where any expertise, I may pretend to have, ends.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks.
