Hi, I have a 9yr old Beko DW80323W (7658333842) dishwasher.
It appears to be filling ok. When reset it correctly drains. However instead or the normal whirring of the wash it just makes a humming sound. After a full cycle the contents are not cleaned (obviously) but there is the usual steamy dampness on opening so it seems to be heating the water and just not washing.
Is it fair to assume the problem is with the circulation pump?
Any tips or tricks to safely replace the pump? - As I understand it the whole machine needs to be upturned. I'm concerned about possible (salt) water leaking out into places it shouldn't go and ruining the machine.
Also is it possible to say if it would likely need a new replacement or may be repaired?
Thanks!
