BEKO washing machine fabric softener

I have read other posts about the same problem but they were all different types of washing machine.
I have a BEKO washing machine and the fabric softener and water is being left in the dispenser tray at the end of each wash, and not going onto the clothes.

I have taken the tray out and given it a good clean, as well as cleaning inside the machine where the tray sits.

I have also ran a 90 degree wash with nothing in it to see if that would maybe 'un-gunk' anything but.....nothing!

Has anyone got any other ideas about what it could be and how to fix it?

your maschine may have a double solenoid on your cold water valve. it's possible that your rinse cycle is o.k. but if the coil dedicated to dispensing conditioner is open circuit then the water will not go into the drawer properly or at all.
also some machines have a mechanism to direct water into the various compartments if this is the case it may need a slight adjustment
