beko washing machine, 2 years old.
was working fine, then 1 day it made a squeaking noise when spinning, didnt really think anything of it, put next load in, filled fine etc but while spinning squeaked again then blew electrics, now it fills etc fine but wont turn or spin at all.
I have phoned a repair man who said he would charge £40 to come out to look, but suggested that before I pay him to come out I check the brushes, could only get to one and it looks to be around 1 cm long. Called him back and he said 1cm is fine and it should still work, said it might be electronics board.
Dont want to pay call out charge if it sounds like it cant be fixed as the money could be put towards a new machine
