My washer warranty ran out last month and it decided to break down this month - just my luck!
Washer made a rumbling noise as if a coin was jammed somewhere in the mechaninsm when it was on spin cycle. I let it finish it's load and left it a week until I had some free time to look at it. Ran a spin cycle empty with no problems. Then ran a mini 30 wash to see if that would work OK. It washes but will not spin now. It drains down fine but no spin cycle. I tried manually selected spin cycle but no luck either. I then emptied the trap (nothing there) and manually drained last few drops of water out. Pump makes a funny nosie but probably because it was running completely dry (having manually drained evey last drop from it). Put some water down it and it quitened again but still not a great nosie from pump. Does this sound like the pressure switch or the pump? where is the pressure switch located?
The machine is relatively new and has only been used a couple of times per week for about a year.
