Belling Range Glass Lid

Hi all,

I would be so grateful for some help please. I have brought a secondhand Belling range dual fuel cooker which has a glass lid. This is damaged and I have a replacement but cannot work out how to remove it. I have spoken to Belling who have said they know you can but unsure how - great! Any advice please?
