Hello,
We have a chalet bungalow and are in the process of moving our bathroom into the middle of the first floor. So the toilet has a longer run before it hits the soil stack.
We have three options but we are unsure if these are possible and want to avoid a macerator at all costs!
Option 1 (our preferred as it looks the nicest) the pipe will have two 90 degree bends with a total pipe length of 7.5 metres.
Option 2 the pipe will have one 90 degree bend and a total pipe length of 6.5 metres
Option 3 move the soil stack...
We would put an AAV on the first bend.
Help as we are confused by maximum lengths and bends as we’ve read conflicting reports and the building regs (document h) talks about 15 metres unventilated and 6 ventilated ?!
Any help is very much appreciated.
Anna
