I have to install a wc that will require a soil pipe with 3 right-angle bends within approx 1 metre to connect to sewer. Is it likely that there will be a problem with flushing?
would it not depend on the amount of "fall" in the distance, a 90degree bend is the equivilant of 10 feet of pipe. could you not try a couple of these and not have 3 x 90 degrees?
Thanks, I may well use a "universal" fitting but it won't solve the problem entirely. If you look down on the installation and imagine the wc pan at the centre of a clock face, the outlet pointing to 12 o'clock has to be connected to a vertical sewer pipe in the 4 o'clock position. Hence two right-angles to the right and one right-angle down. I'll probably try it anyway with the largest drop I can manage and see what happens!
