We're getting condensation in the loft and the loft latch looks the culprit.
It has the metal ladder attached which has probably twisted the hatch door over time.
The loft door closes upwards.
I'm going to add foam seal strips for the hatch door to course against. But need a way of securing and bending the door up and keep it closed. I could use a bolt, but then every time I want to open and close it I'll need a ladder.
Any ideas?
Maybe a latch/ lock I can rotate with a stick to push up hard, twist lock 90o and lock into the side of the frame?
Some pics.
Thanks
