Best heatbank?

If I were to get a vented heatbank (and I am familiar with the arguments for and against as aired extensively on this forum) does anybody who actually has experience of installing and servicing them have a reccomendation for the best one?

From what I've read it sounds as though the Gledhill Gulfstream is rubbish.

Thanks.

PS my last thread got locked - if Dr D posts here, could you please ignore him rather than replying to his posts! Ta

Also, is the heat store in the EcoTec 937 plus vented or unvented, does anybody know? I'm probably a bit thick, but I can't seem to work it out from the Valliant website...

Unvented.

Most problems from unvented thermal stores result because they are cheaply installed and not dosed with inhibitor in the correct quantity.

Users never have them checked and inhibitor aded and they get sludged up.

On a friends block of flats 15% of the stores have failed after 11 years as a result of leaks from the lower seams.
