Best material for boxing in bath waste

Hi,

I have to box in the waste from the bath that runs across the bathroom floor against the wall. I have tried using plain old wood (probably pine), but this has warped for mthe heat of the waste water in the pipe.

Anybody recommend the best stuff to use? It will be tiled afterwards.

neb - use exterior grade ply (WBP). You can get this in small sheets (4' x 2') in the DIY sheds and some sheds will cut the stuff into strips for you if you don't have a circular saw of your own (or don't fancy cutting it with a handsaw).

Make a frame from 2"x1" and plasterboard it.

Cheers chaps, like the sound of PB - much cheaper than ply.
