If anyone could help me decide on the purchase of a SDS drill please. At the moment i have a B&D KR500 like this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Decker-KR500-Hammer-Drill/dp/B0001GRVZ0
Its good for wood work and light masonry. But i find going through old brickwork is nearly always difficult. Even using proper masonry bits the drill just doesnt go through to the required depth. I need something that packs more of a punch. I have looked at a couple of drills on the screwfix site and the ones i'm interested in are:
Dewalt D25113K http://www.screwfix.com/prods/30153
Bosch GBH4-32 http://www.screwfix.com/prods/61960
Which one is better? Or if you can recommend another model that would be great too. I would prefer it to be corded as then i dont need to worry about batteries and charging times. My budget is really about £250. But would it be worth stretching for the more expensive one? I would be using the drill quite regularly but not as a professional for daily use. thanks
