Best tool for sanding the Wood panelling post stripping

Hi

I've panelling reaching up to 7ft in the hallway.
I've stripped it back with a heatgun.
Removing some old 60's plastic ish wallpaper and the thick glue gunk underneath.
I plan to paint it, so was thinking either by hand or something like a detail sander (mouse).

What do you recommend?
