The planners said 'no' to UPVc at our renovation property on the Moray Firth coast, and advised hard wood in keeping with the surroundings.
Given that the top dormers require scaffolding at forty feet up, I do not want to have constant maintenance.
Have just received my mahogany window frames today, and am looking for the best possible treatment to preserve the wood for as long as possible.
