Hi all,
I have a steel shower tray designed to sit directly onto the subfloor (it has rigid foam inserts under it that are then glued to floor). I've attached a photo of what I've been left with from the previous shower tray install.
I can obviously replace the boards where I can secure it on joists either side no problem. The trouble with the right hand side is that the next joist isn't accessible and thus I was looking at building up the sleeper wall (it's literally only a couple of cm so not sure of best approach with that) and then securing the board onto that? The waste needs to be relocated to the left side, incidentally. The nearest edge of the tray comes to the nearest edge of the sleeper wall, near enough so that corner will be well supported if built up properly underneath...
Any suggestions appreciated.
