Hi,
Our cookie cutter home had a 2 zone combi heating system with two wired thermostats. The stats were placed in the worst spots imaginable - in the warmest, east facing, rooms which left the rest of the house cold since the warm rooms weren't calling for heat as often to sustain the temperature in the cooler rooms.
To remedy, I installed the Evohome system from Honeywell which has resolved the temperature differential however we're left with two redundant thermostats which I'd like to remove.
I've disconnected the thermostats from the wiring centre and put each wire into their own wago block.
How best do I deal with the thermostat side, given I want to plaster up the holes of where the stats once was? Both stats have metal backboxes with 4 core wires.
