Cats love textured paper![]()
A ready mixed lightweight filler like "Red devil One time" might be worth a try - it's a soft finish so you could shape it as it goes on and then rub with a brush when dry. Ordinary emulsion will do fine as a finish
Aparently soBut a generic Lightweight Readymixed will be fine - you'll know it's right when you pick up the tub- feels like it's empty.
Anything really - maybe even a finger and work the filler in with a brush. It must be stirred up before use though. Apply dry and then maybe something damp- sponge/brush to shape it . Just play around with it![]()
I would try working it into the cracks as said with a paint brush. Surley if you put it on with a spreader and sand, it will fill the valleys and grain of the pattern which will stick out like a sore thumb?
