So many ways to achieve a 0.2 rating for insulating my roof for my loft conversion, but which is the cheapest way as far as materials are concerned? I am doing it myself and I have lots of time but budget is an important factor for materials.
Ive seen cellotex between joists then TLX multi right across with battens to fix plaster board to.
TLX across joists then cellotex across TLX with battens to fix plaster board to.
A whole array of different thicknesses of cellotex being mentioned its a mine field
Ive spoken to building control and they just say put in as much as you can ( very helpfull )
Timbers are 6" x 2" What are my option Thanks.
