I thought you would want to know about this e-mail virus. Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee cannot take care of this one. It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1965.

1. Causes you to send the same e-mail twice. done that!

2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail !that too!

3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person. yep!

4. Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you. Aha!

5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment. well darn!

6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished. Oh, no - not again!

7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND." and I just hate that!

8. Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "DELETE." Oh No!
IT IS CALLED THE...
"C-NILE VIRUS"

Hmmm.... Have I already posted this on DIYnot?

My dad's computer has suffered this from the very first time it was switched on.  I'm sure Microsoft deliberately infect Windows systems when people register their product with MS and enter a birth date that's pre 1960.
After a while, I think the virus migrates through the keyboard and into the person's skin and hence to the brain.
Symptoms include,,,

Thinking your son works for Microsoft and has an intimate understanding of Win 7, no matter what time of the night/morning/afternoon it is.

Phoning said son and telling him the same joke at least 6 times in as many weeks

Texting the same joke week after week.

Telling his son about "Fred/Arthur/Harry (who the son never even met) that he/they died the other month and the funeral is on Friday (can you come to pay your last respects?) (in other words, dad wants a lift)

Phoning, emailing, texting son with the great news of a petrol station selling diesel for only £1.32.9 per litre (even though the petrol station is 175 miles away) (but think of the saving if you fill the tank up?) ;) ;) ;)

Thanks for that Pred. Can you post it every week just in case I forget.

My old man texted my brother the other day, and asked him to pass the text on (to his other progeny), to save him cash

Even more farcical was the fact that he is on holiday. In Aus. For a month.

Just how hard up is he?

OK, who else has come back to read this thread again? :)
