Bi folds Gap

Could someone advise me on the best way to trim this sloping gap.
I have just put the bifold in place and realised that the steel is not level! Over the 3m length it's probably around 20mm out..but once fitted how do I trim so the slope is not noticeable. The builder as done a runner so no chance getting him back to rectify the slope in the steel.

Not sure what you could ever do about that, short of levelling the lintel.

I think the white protection film on the frame will tend to exaggerate the gap.
Take the film off and you may get a better impression.
I would be tempted to ask the door manufacturer what matching trim they produced; if they had something like a slim, coated angle profile, that could probably slot into the gap without the need for visible fixings?

The answer to this might be 'no' however I wonder if the issue could be mitigated by painting the steel the same colour as the door? Or trimming it with suitable trim that's the same colour? That way, the angle difference between the top of the frame and the steel wouldn't be as noticeable?

Tbh, even if you were just filling the gap with a suitable sealant, same colour as frame, the difference wouldn't be that noticeable. To you yes, because you know it's there. But others probably wouldn't notice.

fit a wide cover trim in matching anthracite and scribe it to the lintel

something like 45mm x 6mm

Well you will seeing as the head of the window ain't parallel to the u/s of the lintel.

That said I suspect this is one those things that the OP will notice (and be bugged by) forever and a day but actually nobody else will probably never notice.

Thank you everyone for the replies,
Yes it's really bugging me and I doubt I could unsee it,
I was thinking of adding a angle trim that sits on the bricks just above the front edge of the rsj but lower down on the larger gap side, I just want to try and minimise how noticible it would be.
