biasi 24s combi keeps blowing 1.6amp fuse on pcb

i have this biasi 24s 1999 model combi keep blow blowing the 1.6amp fuse on pcb when replaced it will fire up for about 5 mins then blows again of late has been switching off occaisonaly having to press the read light trip button to get it back on im thinking may be pump problem and if any knows what type resistance should i get if checked with multimeter i would be very great full if any one could help

there was an Askol pump fitted , i think it was much later no data on that one ! Agile may well pick up on this post , he may well know or comfirm .
 
It will not show up as a static resistance problem.

You need to power the pump externally from a 3A fuse and see what happens.

Alternatively you can try measuring the current taken by the pump but use a meter which cannot be damaged by an overlead.

The problem is that the overload occurs at random and can be 5-10 amps!

Askol pumps were used on a very few boilers about 2006. Many failed.
