BIASI 24S noisy

hi have a BIASI 24S boiler that has just started making a noise like the pump runs but seems to stop about every two seconds there is power to the pump that is constant so it is not the control board, could it be the pump on its way out? it makes this noise for heating only or water only or both?

Could be the pump.

However, the fan on these boilers are a weak spot and it may need a real good clean and lube

Do you mean that you could hear the pump start and stop, WHILST you were measuring 240 to the pump? Where exactly did you measure?

240 volt at the pump
iam not sure the pump is stopping and starting it also sounds like as if you stop the flow for a second like a valve opening and closing causing the pressure to increase and fall again like when the pump starts
