Hi all, just wondering if someone can tell me...

The 3 position switch on the timer unit on this boiler is broken - the plastic piece on the top (where it slots in) has broken off and it won't select any setting (always on/always off/timed). This site seems to be offering a replacement for just this piece - can anyone tell me if it is in fact the case? Can I buy a new switch and just slot it in? I don't particularly want to replace the whole timer unit if I can spend a fiver and replace the switch alone. Thanks for any help!

Graslin time clock. They fit them on loads of boilers

No one messes about trying to fix them except you

I saw the site but the price and the part never came up

Take your time clock out and take it to Graham Plumbing
Compare it with baxi Potterton part number 247206 You should be able to buy it as a new part for a new installation for about £20. Buy it as a spare and the price could be £40+

If the price for the real one was reasonable then use the recommended part

Consider running the switch wires to a seperate timeclock as another option
