Hiya,
I have a little problem with my Biasi Garda HE M96.24SM/B Boiler. Everything is working fine except I can't get the programmer/timer to work!
I can program the times okay but when I put the switch into the Auto Position as it says in the manual all the display is showing is OFF although it should show the time and the status. If I put the heating on the snowflake setting the heating comes on even when the timer is set to off and it doesn't switch off at the programmed time. Only the manual operation seems to work coz it comes on and off fine.
I dunno if it has something to do with it but we have an old Honeywell thermostat installed, one of those round things you can turn, if it's set on 0 degrees the central heating still comes on and the radiators get hot, dunno if that is supposed to happen?
Any idea how I can get the timer working?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Kind regards,
Anne
EDIT: I have played around with the CH system today (we just moved in a month ago and I only had to put the heating on today)...the Honeywell thermostat does absolutely nothing lol the CH temperture is only controlled by the boiler, the timer still doesn't work nor does the forced on/off option work, to turn the heating on and off I have to do it manually with the function selector / CH temperature control knob. I will be grateful for any ideas .
