biasi combi , hot water ok, but no heating

hi all i have a biasi advanced 30 combi running a normal room stat with no clock ,
so we have hot water as normal but no heating it’s as if the boiler doesn’t know it’s being asked for heat
even if a bridge the terminals in the boiler for the thermostat it does nothing ??
any ideas

check it has not been turned to hw only on the boiler controls

i’ve checked that it’s definitely in dhw and ch mode
