Are they really worth it and do they add any value to a bathroom?
We have one now but I personally use it infrequently - but some people love(d) them.
I am in the process of ripping out the old bathroom and wanted to know if it was worth forking out the extra cash for one?
Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

My view is its just another thing to trip over in the dark after you have been to the pub :) and your probably more likely to put more value on your house if you used the extra room to put a flower display there.

More of a continental thing, more used to wash feet.
I can't see they would put any value on your house.
If as you say you rarely use it why bother:cool:

A bit seventies, might put people off, esp if advacado green, nice!

I have not fitted a bidet in fifteen years so I would say that they are not as popular as they used to be

I am glad they were a pig to fit

Have to smile when the boiler changes to a combi and its all high pressure. Oooerrrrrr missus!
