Bifold door/frame leaking internally

Hello,

3 years ago we had a lean too extension fitted to the house. Bifold doors with 2 large windows in the roof.

Within 12 months I had to get the builder back due to a bad leak. The leak was coming in at the top of the bifold door, where it meets the frame and pooling on the floor.

Also when he removed one of the fixings holding the frame in place more water poured out of it. (And does to this day if I take it out to drain)

He got on the roof and sealed down both sides of the 2 large windows in the roof. And that appeared to do the trick.

Since then we've had tiny leaks (same place, but nothing worth worrying about).

The leaks seem to be more prominent after snow/frost/ice or a couple of days of downpour.

Anyway we are now 3 years in and we are still getting the leaks. So I think it's time to try and finally sort.

My plan was to jump on the roof and re do the sealing. But any advice or tips would be great.

Was the water getting under the roof windows and running under the tiles into the bi folds? If so the sealant seems to be a sticking plaster rather than a permanent fix.

Hi, thank you for your response.

Not that I know of or can see. (Theres no water ingress marks anywhere else but at the bottom of the windows (above the bifolds))
Flashing looks good.
When we push on the bifolds the water will come in a little between a small gap.
You can see on the pictures, the dark line. That's mildew/damp from where the water sits and seeps in

Maybe resealing it with a quality exterior sealant is the remedy, but you mentioned that the frame fixers leak and have leaked since the repair was carried out, which suggested water was continuing to get in.
