We are looking at potentially having 3 sets of triple panel bifolds or sliding doors added into our extension. I love the look of bifolds but have been put off them a bit by a few friends who have had issues with the mechanisms. Does anyone have any advice from experience or any recommended products??

Fitted correctly they are trouble free, had mine in two years without problem .Need to be aluminium not uvpc .
I make timber bifolds, we never have any problens with the irinmongery once fitted.
I think any problems are either cheap ironmongery or poor fitting.
Avoid upvc -as foxhole says.
Aly are prob the best option, try duration or origin. Schuco if you have deep pockets.
