So I badly messed up.
First I poured concrete over some pipes that were laid for a new rad and a sink.
Second I put a cut with a chisel into a copper bend of a pipe while chipping away some concrete.
Two questions.
I know the pipes should have first been lagged to allow wiggle room for expansion.
Is it a given that when pipes expand they will crack? I know some old underfloor heating has just this done to copper pipes.
Lastly the cut I made. Not leaking at all at the moment. But the pipe isn't hot at the moment so guessing when it is, it's more likely to burst.
Will putting solder in the dent help?
